Ameer is from Cairo, Egypt and is a passionate darbuka player. Never having taken formal courses, his skills are rooted in living culture. He has honed his craft through learning from other musicians and practicing and playing at family and friend's gatherings and local Arab events.

Marina Viola won 1st place in Professional Live Drum Solo Improvisation at Festival on the Nile in Orlando in 2024. She brings an intuitive sense of improvisation combined with a supportive teaching style.
